Jose Hoyos was born and raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 12.  At that time, his family moved to Kissimmee, Florida in pursue of a
better future where he eventually graduated from Gateway High
School being one of the youngest in the class to graduate at the
age of 16.  Jose moved to Lakeland, FL and received a
Bachelor's degree in Math Education from Southeastern University
in 1998.  His experience in education helped him establish a
corporate trainer and supervisor career for a local insurance
company for the last 12 years.  In 2009, Jose pioneered
PolkHispano.com, Polk County's new web Portal to the Hispanic Community with Blogs, News, Calendar of Events, Business Directory, Classifieds, Jobs, Videos, Photos, Social Network, Forums and much more.  PolkHispano.com is quickly becoming an important
source for communication and resources for the Hispanic
